  • 4 breasts chicken breast
  • 12 tablespoons hot sauce or salsa
  • 12 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 lime
  • 1 dash salt
  • 8 ounces sour cream

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine lime juice, hot sauce, mustard, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and marinate for 45 minutes.
  3. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes per side until browned and almost cooked through.
  5. Pour the reserved marinade into the pan and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Transfer chicken to a plate, then add sour cream to the pan and stir until smooth.
  7. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
