- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, egg, salt, milk, and herbs until smooth. Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
- Cook the sausages in a skillet or flameproof casserole dish until browned and cooked through.
- Transfer the sausages to a casserole dish if not already, then pour the batter evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the batter is puffed and golden brown.
Notes
For a lighter texture, allow the batter to rest for 5-10 minutes before baking.
